During her speech yesterday at the opening ceremony of the 29th International Tourism Exhibition “Philoxenia,”–which takes place from 21 to 24 November at the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Center–Minister of Tourism Olga Kefalogianni announced the establishment of a Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) branch in Istanbul.
Ms. Olga Kefalogianni said that next week, an important presentation of Greek tourism will take place, highlighting the city break. Bilateral meetings between the two countries and between the entrepreneurs of tourism will take place.
“During this meeting, Thessaloniki will take the place it deserves. The Turkish market has the potential to further develop, especially in city break. The decision of establishing a Greek National Tourism Organization in Istanbul will create the right ground to achieve our goals,” said the Minister of Tourism.
